Resort Operations Manager Job

Our resort seeks a highly skilled Resort Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our lodge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock control, bar service and control, guest delight activities, staff management, hospitality and food services, and maintenance issues. They will also be expected to drive community development projects in conjunction with our foundation.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the service industry, particularly in dealing with guests and staff
  • Previous experience as a camp manager or safari host (advantageous)
  • Ability to work with kids and families (advantageous)
  • Knowledge and experience in hospitality and tourism
  • Passion for the environment and local communities
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

Remuneration and Package:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of R16 000 per month, plus additional benefits and perks.
