Job Title

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized accounting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial records, processing transactions, and supporting accounting functions.

  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Reconcile key accounts, including bank statements, and ensure accuracy in financial records
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Maintain documentation and records for auditing and compliance purposes
  • Work closely with the team to optimize accounting processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable learning and navigating new systems and tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and other key stakeholders
Certifications
  • Strong preference would be a degree in Accounting, with Finance or related fields being secondary
  • If they have a degree in a related field, an accounting certification would be a plus
Desirable Skills
  • Full professional proficiency, both spoken and written
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably with a US based company
  • Experience preparing bank reconciliations, fixed assets, prepaid expenses
  • Experience with Quickbooks Online is a bonus
