Regional Poultry Vaccine Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Poultry Technical Service Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic marketing and technical initiatives for poultry vaccine platforms in Latin America and Africa.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the poultry vaccine platforms in Latin America and Africa.
• Drive strategic marketing and technical support for poultry vaccine platforms.
• Analyze market developments and share trends in Latin America and Africa, providing insights to maintain or reach top 10 players in key market segments.
• Develop robust regional technical and marketing plans.
• Design and implement "Go to Market" strategies at a regional level for Latin America and Africa.
• Oversee brand life cycles from a strategic planning perspective, working on "Renovation" or "Innovation" to extend product life cycles, including planning field studies to support these efforts within regions and product launching activities.
• Actively work on publications and publication strategies relevant to regions.
• Involve key thought and market leaders from Latin America and Africa to support positioning of platforms and transfer insights to teams.
• Translate regional field issues and customer challenges in poultry health into solutions to support local sales, technical, and marketing teams, and ultimately customers.
• Participate in and attend local and regional exhibitions, seminars, trainings, and workshops within Latin America and Africa.
• Support R&D and Regulatory Affairs teams where needed, collecting technical information and trial results from regions.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Veterinary Medicine, preferably with specialization in poultry health.
• Field experience managing health status of poultry, preferably with experience in Latin America and/or Africa markets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with understanding of customer needs in diverse cultural contexts.
• Excellent writing skills (English) and ability to provide adequate synthesis.
• High degree of personal motivation, desire to make immediate contribution, and sense of urgency.
• Experience working effectively in cross-functional team.
• Fluent in English. Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or French is highly desirable to effectively cover Latin America and Africa regions.
• Track record in regional technical or marketing management.
• Experience in technical/commercial business in animal health with focus on poultry.

Working Conditions:

• Home office based or based at one of our regional headquarters, traveling across globe (50% of time annually).
