OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the Enterprise Cloud Services division, our Project & Program Office is committed to executing top-tier projects that expedite S/4 HANA cloud adoption. The Project Office oversees planning and implementation, managing escalations during project activities. The Project Lead will engage with Enterprise Cloud Services accounts across the LAC region.
The Project & Program Office Organization has established the following priorities:
· Develop and maintain a world-class, efficient organization to support our clients' transition to next-generation business solutions.
· Assist SAP clients in harnessing the innovative capabilities of SAP HANA and the SAP Cloud continuously.
· Propel advancements in the S/4 HANA platform.
· Oversee system landscape provisioning, application installations, upgrades, and migrations.
· Execute project management for all ECS Delivery Projects.
· Serve as the primary liaison to the customer project team to ensure effective communication.

These priorities are integral to the Project & Program Office Organization, supporting SAP HANA growth and adoption objectives while ensuring that our clients have a secure and efficient pathway into the ECS Managed Cloud.
To enhance our delivery capabilities, the Project & Program Office Organization seeks skilled, hands-on professionals in application and technology domains, particularly those interested in the intersection of these fields.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
· Act as the primary contact for all matters related to the ECS onboarding phase, ensuring a seamless transition into SAP RISE.
· Collaborate with extended teams (commercial, operations, product support, etc.) to facilitate customer onboarding into the cloud.
· The Project Lead is responsible for managing the provisioning and upgrades of system landscapes within the ECS Private Cloud.
· Ability to perform under pressure while consistently delivering value to customers and the organization.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills
· Proven competencies in IT Project Management.
· Strong business insight coupled with a technology/solution background.
· Process-oriented mindset with a strong affinity for processes.
· Extensive experience in IT backend technologies.
· Background in performing system owner-related responsibilities.
· Experience collaborating with cross-cultural teams and individuals.
· Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams.
· Proactively manage project escalations.
· Experience overseeing SAP release upgrades.
· Flexibility to work during weekends and off-hours may be required.
· Strong teamwork skills are essential.
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Management.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role with a strong ability to de-escalate critical situations.

Preferred skills
· Solid understanding of SAP Cloud solutions.
· SAP Basis expertise with practical experience (desirable).
· Knowledge of network operations related to Hyperscalers such as Google, AWS, Azure (desirable).
· Experience in data center migration (desirable).

WORK EXPERIENCE
· Significant professional experience in managing landscape provisioning, installation, migration, and upgrades, with a minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing role demonstrating excellent de-escalation skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
· English (advanced/fluent written and spoken).
· Portuguese (native/fluent written and spoken).
· Spanish (optional – fluent).
