About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Senior Consultant to join our Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) team in Business Technology Platform (BTP) at SAP.

Purpose and Objectives:

This role aims to support our worldwide customers with their business and technological transformation needs, from conceptual planning to execution. Responsibilities include complex restructuring, migrations, and system decommissioning for both SAP and non-SAP environments using DMLT owned software and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting services for setting up and delivering 'DMLT projects': Ability to set up and deliver 'Migration DMLT projects' (collaborate with the planning, run, and participate in the whole project, participate in workshops, meetings, etc.) in collaboration with other consulting and development colleagues.
  • Configure the DMLT tool for migrations or transformations within customer systems.
  • Conduct scoping analyses and planning required solution approaches for customers.
  • Contribute to service development activities for enhancing SLO (System and Landscape Optimization) tools and services.
  • Execute workshops to our customers defining migration architecture and migration strategy design.

Requirements:

  • University degree or in the last year in a technical field.
  • Strong experience as an ABAP Technical Consultant: ABAP development proficiency is mandatory, with knowledge of items like ABAP Workbench, OO ABAP, debugging, Enhancements & Modifications, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of ERP as ABAP Consultant.
  • Experience with data migration and conversion is required.
  • Migration techniques and approaches knowledge, like Migration Cockpit is a plus.
  • SQL and Data Services knowledge is desired.
  • Understanding of Workflows, Performance Tuning, and Database Updates is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with one or more ERP modules, such as FI, CO, MM, SD is required.
  • Functional knowledge of Main process, Master Data, Organizational Structure, Data structure (main tables and fields and their relationship) is relevant for this position.
  • LMSW tools.
  • ERP Database architecture and ABAP Programing: Organizational Structure. Master Data & Transactional Data.

Language Skills:

  • Portuguese mandatory.
  • English excellent proficiency required.
  • Spanish excellent proficiency required.

Work Experience:

  • Strong experience in SAP ERP implementation, migration, or support projects.
