Lead Investment Fund Specialist

As a seasoned legal professional, you will play a key role in the structuring and daily operations of investment funds. You will be responsible for analysis and preparation of documents, monitoring demands and controls, and providing support to clients and internal teams.
You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on legal and regulatory issues related to investment funds.
To succeed in this role, you will need a law degree, registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), and familiarity with the daily operations of investment funds and capital markets.
You will also need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands.
In addition, you should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be confident in communicating with internal and external clients.
- Responsibilities:
- Analysis and preparation of documents related to the structuring and daily operations of investment funds;
- Monitoring demands and controls of the Funds and implementing operations with internal teams;
- Providing support to external/internal clients by preparing opinions related to investment funds;
- Advising internal areas on legal and regulatory issues concerning investment funds, including matters related to their assets and offerings;
- Analyzing and studying regulations on investment funds and capital markets.
Qualifications:
- Licenses/Certifications: Law degree;
- Registries/Professional Associations: Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) registration;
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with daily operations of investment funds, public offerings of securities, and capital markets, especially CVM Resolutions 175 and 160;
- Software Proficiency: Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Language Skills: Intermediate English skills.
Key Competencies:
- Knowledge of Regulations: Knowledge of applicable legislation and standards (especially ICVM 160 and 175);
- Client Service: Willingness to handle client service and manage processes independently;
- Organizational Skills: Organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple demands, prioritizing according to importance and volume;
- Analytical Skills: Analytical and problem-solving profile for routine tasks with daily deadlines;
- Proactivity: Proactivity in seeking information, solutions, alternatives, and understanding processes to meet demands and achieve results;
- Communication Skills: Confidence in communicating with internal and external clients.
Desirable:
- Certifications: CPA-20;
- Experience: Experience with corporate law;
