We are looking for an **Agroforestry Investment Specialist** in Brazil to further grow and holistically strengthen our reforestation investments, with the main focus on Brazil. This is a great opportunity to become part of an inspiring company and work with people worldwide.
You will develop, structure, and invest in opportunities at different scales, from startup/early stage to established (but innovative) concepts, that all are directed by the principles that they increase tree cover, build soil, and at the same time are built on a solid financial business case.
**YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE AN IMPACT**:
- Sourcing and structuring of regenerative agriculture and agroforestry investment opportunities, with a focus on Brazil, that create soil and plant trees, and that are replicable in other parts of the country or even abroad.
- Create a portfolio of opportunities with different risk profiles and stages.
- Support the investments with expertise and your network.
**YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE**:
- This position requires as a **MUST** at least 5 years of experience with structuring financial/investment deals.
- You have hands-on experience in the field and therefore can review how realistic figures and assumptions are in the propositions.
- You are strongly value-driven and analytical.
- About your English level: it should be proficient, this means that you are able to participate in discussions, verbally and in writing, typing mistakes however are not a knock-out criteria : -)
The hiring process for this position is the following one:

2) Chat with our Chief Tree Planting Officer, based on 2 or 3 Investment opportunities, that we have picked beforehand and are discussing whether they are a great fit to Ecosia, plus 1 or 2 people from the **tree team**, that you as an Agroforestry Investment Specialist will be part of
3) Chat with Chief Tree Planting Officer and CEO and COO
All interview stages will happen remotely.
