About the Role
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is dedicated to driving revenue, adoption, and growth across a diverse range of accounts, from small and mid-market to enterprise-level clients, including public sector organizations.


As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing strategic relationships within the Enterprise segment. Your blend of business acumen and technical expertise will be crucial in positioning Amazon as a leading technology platform provider.

Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will encompass:

  • Generating revenue and expanding market share within a designated territory or industry vertical.
  • Achieving or surpassing quarterly revenue objectives.
  • Formulating and executing a detailed account and territory strategy.
  • Crafting and presenting compelling value propositions for AWS services.
  • Accelerating customer adoption of AWS solutions.
  • Maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Collaborating with partners to broaden reach and enhance adoption.
  • Facilitating contract negotiations and nurturing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in full sales cycle, technology sales, or equivalent business development roles.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
  • Background in engineering, computer science, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Experience in driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent.
