About the Role

As a piping engineer, you will be responsible for developing conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for industrial piping systems. This role requires strong technical skills, particularly in 3D design platforms such as AutoCAD Plant 3D and SmartPlant.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of national and international standards such as AWS D1.1, ABNT, ASME/ANSI B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME VIII Div. I, II & III, API 610, API 661, API 650, API 560, NEMA 23, among others.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for industrial piping systems;
    • Prepare technical project documentation, including piping layouts, isometrics, material lists, and engineering diagrams;
    • Ensure that all documentation complies with company standards, procedures, and applicable codes;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in piping engineering;
  • Experience working on projects in mining, oil & gas, chemical, or petrochemical plants;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Advanced knowledge in 3D design platforms;
  • Solid understanding of national and international standards;
