About Piping Design Role:

At the core of our company lies a dynamic team responsible for conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering of industrial piping systems.

We seek a skilled Junior Piping Designer to join us in Brazil, collaborating with experts in Minerals & Metals Business line in Belo Horizonte.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support senior engineers in developing engineering projects, including piping layouts, isometrics, material lists, and diagrams;
  • Prepare technical project documentation adhering to company standards, procedures, and relevant codes;
  • E nsure accurate calculations involving pumps, compressors, and utility systems using specialized software;
  • Collaborate with engineers on flexibility analysis (using Caesar II).
About You:
  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the development of conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for industrial piping systems;
  • Background in mining, oil & gas, chemical, or petrochemical projects;
  • Advanced knowledge in preparing technical documentation, including piping layout drawings, isometrics, MTOs, bill of materials, engineering flow diagrams, pipe supports, calculations, and reports;
  • Proficiency in 3D design platforms, especially AutoCAD Plant 3D and SmartPlant;
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as AWS D1.1, ABNT, ASME/ANSI B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME VIII Div. I, II & III, API 610, API 661, API 650, API 560, NEMA 23;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively within a team and under supervision;
