Job Summary
A senior supply chain planner is responsible for deciding what, when and where to produce for multiple production sites or plants within a single business or multiple smaller businesses.
- Balance supply and demand over the tactical horizon to achieve optimum product availability, asset utilization and supply chain efficiencies.
- Determine and/or execute the most effective regional or global sourcing rules.
- Ensure that strategic and tactical business decisions are made with a full and integrated understanding of current and future supply chain capabilities.
- Leads, develops, decides, communicates and implements tactical plans across assigned plants.
- Develops plans to support new item introductions, ensuring product availability for all customers, as well as item discontinuations.
- Ensures that strategic and tactical business decisions are made with a full and integrated understanding of current and future supply chain capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
- Fluent in English.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Planning Process and/or warehouse management.
This role requires a strong understanding of key business drivers for the discipline and function. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
