Operations Manager

In this key leadership position, you will oversee a team of hourly workforce to drive exceptional results. Your primary focus will be on enhancing safety, quality, attendance, and performance. To achieve this, you will lead your team during shifts to maintain high standards.
The operation has three major components: first mile, where the product is housed; middle mile, where the order is hauled; and last mile, when the product is delivered to customers. While workflows have slight variations, our dedication to customer satisfaction remains constant.
Responsibilities- Support and motivate hourly workers to reach their full potential.
- Manage operational aspects such as safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises.
- Collaborate with support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop business strategies.
- Be able to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
- Work in environments with varying noise levels.
- Work in areas with variable temperatures and weather conditions.
- Continuously climb and descend stairs at sites with staircases.
- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- 1+ years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
- Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
- Background in process improvements (Lean process, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Industry experience in retail, manufacturing, logistics, or related fields.

Our compensation reflects labor costs across various US markets. The base pay for this role ranges from $61,400/year in our lowest market to $100,000/year in our highest market. Total compensation includes equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits.
