Job Title: Commercial Manager

At Betfair International, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to play a critical role in designing, implementing, and monitoring the regionalized sports and gaming strategy for Brazil, one of our key markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Touchpoint: Support senior commercial stakeholders as the key touchpoint within the Commercial team for inputting priorities across key relevant business functions.
  • Pricing and Risk Strategies: Be the Brazilian customer's commercial voice, inputting into defining our Pricing strategy and working closely with the trading team to ensure its delivery.
  • Commercial Understanding: Support the analysis and interpretation of performance, growth indicators, and competitor drivers. Work with key commercial leaders to continually identify areas for strategic and operational improvements that support our Brazilian business.
  • License Approval: Support senior commercial and Brazilian steerco stakeholders with the defining, scoping, prioritization, and delivery of relevant regulatory requirements necessary for Betfair International's Brazilian license approval.
  • Betfair International Team: Lead a small team responsible for on-site quality assurance, testing new products, and journeys to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience across our website.
  • Presentation and Insights: Play a key role in creating insight from data, making strategic recommendations, and preparation of materials that will be shared with senior management.
  • Brazilian Tribe: Contribute to the Brazilian tribe, sharing key insights and localized knowledge with other members, both internal and external to the Tribe.
  • Brand Localization: Act as a point of contact for Marketing and CRM teams, helping shape locally relevant customer communications, ensuring content plans are in line with principles established from commercial senior management.

  • Cross Functional Player: Can build positive relationships across a sophisticated organization to give clarity of objectives and support effective delivery of strategic objectives.
  • Data Driven: You are comfortable unpicking data to identify key insights and building a clear, concise, and accurate narrative to express what we are and are not doing effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, to form strong working relationships across a matrixed organization.
  • Courage: You work through difficult problems with partners in an honest and reasoned way, to support the best delivery of solutions for Betfair International.
  • Customer Obsessed: Builds and delivers solutions that exceed customer expectations; prioritizes customer satisfaction and builds commitment in others to provide outstanding service.
