Capital Markets Researcher for Commercial Real Estate

We are seeking a skilled Capital Markets Researcher for Commercial Real Estate to join our team. The role requires someone who is both adept at online research and comfortable making high-volume phone calls every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outreach and Engagement:  Implement targeted outreach strategies to gauge interest in active opportunities, and nurture prospects toward further discussions.
  • Appointment Setting:  Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified capital providers and senior team members, ensuring smooth handoffs for follow-up discussions.
  • Phone-Based Research:  Conduct introductory calls with lenders and investors to capture high-level criteria, including preferred loan types, deal sizes, and geographic focus.
  • Web-Based Research:  Review lender websites, industry databases, and online resources to identify, update, and validate current lending programs and parameters.
  • Database Research:  Review and update existing capital provider investment parameters in the CRM, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaboration:  Work closely with senior team members to align outreach efforts with active deals and capital-raising initiatives.
  • Reporting:  Prepare and share weekly progress updates on outreach activities, database updates, and key findings from conversations.
  • Market Intelligence:  Stay current on industry trends, lender activity, market conditions, and competitor movements within the U.S. commercial real estate sector; provide valuable insights to the team.

The ideal candidate will be organized, persistent, and adept at gathering and analyzing information online while confidently engaging prospects over the phone. This position offers the chance to develop expertise in real estate capital markets and make a direct impact on the growth of our firm.

Requirements:
  • Strong Research Skills:  2+ years of experience in research, business development, sales support, or a related field.
  • Preferred Experience:  Background in real estate, finance, or capital brokerage, particularly within the U.S. commercial real estate market.
  • Language Skills:  Fluent in English (C1 or higher), with strong verbal communication skills and confidence in making professional outreach calls.
  • Technical Skills:  Proficient in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
  • Soft Skills:  Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
