The Senior Project Geologist will enhance our customer service program by providing exceptional support throughout all stages of customer interaction. This role involves building strong relationships by understanding customer needs and implementing effective solutions.

  • Develop revenue targets and focus on license sales, support, training, and project revenue.
  • Identify and create opportunities, organize user forums, and assist in pre-sale activities.
  • Provide remote and in-person technical support, conduct user "health checks," and train new Project Geologists.
  • Test and assess emerging products, gather customer feedback, and maintain the closing process.
  • Maintain customer contact, monitor satisfaction, support product upgrades, and identify business opportunities.
  • Organize and host user forums to discuss market trends and gather market intelligence.
  • Drive growth and support customers across Latin America.
  • Collaborate with the business team by setting up demos, webinars, and supplying product information to prospective customers.
  • Be a CRM champion by ensuring accurate maintenance of the database and closing process.
  • Diversify skills by collaborating with the software development teams to understand user needs better.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in geoscience, with specialized knowledge in geoscience software modeling solutions.
  • Experience in geostatistics and mining operations, underground and open-pit mining operations, and the Latin American mining markets.
  • University degree in geoscience or geology.
  • Advanced proficiency in English and Portuguese (written and verbal), Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships within large, multi-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen, assessment, judgment, and critical thinking abilities.
