Job Overview

Develop innovative animation solutions to enhance character motion in high-quality gaming experiences. As a Senior Technical Designer in Animation, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement advanced animation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex movement systems using animation behavior tools and techniques.
  • Implement state machines, behaviors, and runtime solutions to drive engaging animations.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and solve animation-related technical challenges in collaboration with the Animation, Design, and Engineering departments.
  • Maintain the style and quality bar for animations in games.
  • Improve the animation pipeline and provide solutions for technical animation problems.
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of realistic and stylized character motion with expertise in modern animation methods.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with strong written communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with AAA game development, preferably on large teams using established game engines, such as Unreal Engine.
  • Familiarity with gameplay animation tools and concepts, including blend trees and state machines.
  • Self-motivation and a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
