Schedule Manager for Healthcare Providers

About the Role

The Schedule Manager will oversee daily management and compliance of provider schedules. This includes establishing master schedules, auditing, reporting, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure proper scheduling and utilization of providers.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, particularly in planning, coordinating, and communicating. They will also demonstrate good judgment and maturity, working collaboratively with team members and providers.

  • Create and manage provider schedules, ensuring alignment with stakeholder entities (ED, procedural/testing departments, and hospitals).
  • Audit schedules to ensure appropriate provider coverage at all locations.
  • Implement and communicate schedule changes as necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Daily management of provider schedules.
  • Master schedule creation for CMC providers.
  • Auditing and reporting on schedule data.
  • Communicating with stakeholders regarding schedule changes.
  • Collaboration with operational leaders to ensure necessary operational support.
  • Confirms credentialing is completed for all new providers prior to activating provider schedules and assignments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a medical office setting with experience with provider scheduling.
