Solar Energy Project Developer

As a Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across America. You will collaborate with our team to conceptualize and design PV power plants and BESS facilities from early-stage site evaluation through contractor hand-off.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the conceptual design of a portfolio of PV and BESS projects under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.
- Proactively plan and manage the workload of drafting consultants and staff to ensure timely project delivery.
- Prepare comprehensive PV and BESS design layouts and single-line drawings to facilitate efficient project execution.
- Perform site diligence and preliminary design workstreams to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
- Create detailed design specifications and coordinate design handoff to the performance and cost estimating teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in land development and/or infrastructure project design.
- Prior experience in the renewable energy industry is highly desirable.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Portuguese is mandatory.
