Supply Chain Optimization Expert

We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative professional to join our Supply Chain Optimization team in São Paulo. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for developing models, tools, and processes to ensure reliability, agility, cost efficiency, and optimal asset utilization in the logistics network.

About the Role

This is a key position within our organization, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with data engineers, project managers, and data scientists dedicated to creating scalable and innovative solutions that support and optimize Amazon's logistics operations in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements in the logistics network through effective analysis of performance metrics and key indicators.
  • Create reports for proactive exception management and visibility of logistics operations.
  • Design and develop audit tools and consolidated reports to identify operational bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
  • Automate manual processes and implement self-service tools to increase team productivity.
  • Analyze operations, system configurations, and processes through enhanced analysis mechanisms for better visibility of indicators that impact costs and delivery speed.
Requirements
  • Programming experience to extract, transform, and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.
  • Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results.
  • Knowledge of AWS technologies.
  • Scripting experience for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining.
  • SQL experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs.
  • Managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.
