Security Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the security of our facilities and assets.

Job Summary:

The Security Manager will oversee all aspects of security, including risk assessment, policy development, and employee training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement security policies and procedures that meet industry standards.
  • Employee Training: Provide training to employees on security protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management plans to respond to security incidents.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as business or security management.
  • Significant experience in security management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:

The following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Certification in security management, such as CPP or PSP.
  • Experience in conducting root cause analysis and prioritizing key factors.
  • Familiarity with security policies and procedures, including those related to loss prevention.
