We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced internal audit professional to oversee the Latin America and Caribbean region.

About the Opportunity

In this critical role, you will provide expert guidance and leadership overseeing regional internal audit activities, including risk assessment, audit planning, execution, and reporting of audit results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal auditing within the digital assets or fintech industries and possess a comprehensive understanding of the LACC regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and executing comprehensive audit strategies aligned with business objectives and internal audit standards
  • Assessing risk and developing risk-based audit plans for the LACC regional audit portfolio
  • Coordinating with global internal audit SMEs to ensure adequate coverage of LACC region's internal audit mandates against local licensing requirements
  • Delivering key LACC audits
  • Evaluating and improving internal governance processes
  • Drafting detailed audit reports that clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and action plans for senior management and the Board of Directors
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Mastery of cryptocurrency exchange operations and blockchain technology is desirable
  • Proven leadership in audit engagements, team management, and delivering high-quality reports and recommendations
  • Deep understanding of internal audit methodology, IIA standards, risk assessment, and control frameworks
