Technical Service Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will participate in technical training to enhance their skills and comprehensive service capabilities.
  • They will also formulate subsidiary stock spare parts plans and submit machine quality problem summaries with proposed improvements.
  • In addition, they will assist colleagues with on-site inventory of spare parts warehouses and ensure adherence to company and customer safety policies.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining Injection Molding Machinery and related equipment.
  • They will perform safety checks on equipment and follow established procedures.
  • Demonstrating equipment usage and providing customer training are also essential responsibilities.
  • The Technical Service Specialist will troubleshoot machine failures and performance issues.
  • Ordering replacement parts and documenting worn parts for future replacement is another key task.
  • Responding promptly to customer problems via phone, email, or onsite is critical to the role.
  • The candidate will provide maintenance and operation recommendations or on-site service to customers.
  • Key contacts and workload of machines must be documented after each service call.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: A college or bachelor degree in mechanical manufacturing, electric engineering, automation, or plastic material, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: At least 2 years of service work or technical support experience in injection molding machine industry or related field.
  • Abilities:
    • Communicate effectively in English.
    • Hold a valid driver's license.
    • Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing injection molding machines.
    • Proficient in using computers, email systems, Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Understand mechanical drawings, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
