Key Hotel Leadership Role

The position of Hotel General Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the overall operations of a luxury hotel. This includes managing all operational departments, such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in senior hotel operations leadership, preferably in luxury or 5-star hotels. Hotel pre-opening experience is highly desirable.

The successful applicant will be responsible for executing the strategic vision of the hotel in collaboration with ownership, maintaining exceptional service standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead operational departments to deliver exceptional results
  • Manage pre-opening phase, including development of SOPs, vendor coordination, recruitment, onboarding, and training
  • Execute strategic vision with ownership
  • Maintain exceptional service standards and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing local team
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and international luxury hospitality standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with VIP and corporate clients
  • Oversee budgets, P&L, forecasting, and cost control initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of senior hotel operations leadership experience (GM, Director of Ops, etc.)
  • Luxury or 5-star hotel experience is essential
  • Hotel pre-opening experience is highly preferred
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong knowledge of F&B operations, guest experience, and operational KPIs
  • Familiarity with executive and business traveler needs
  • Fluent in English; Dutch and/or Spanish is a plus
  • Open to international relocation (expat package available)
