The role of Privacy Manager involves playing a pivotal part in defining and leading initiatives to drive global, cross-jurisdictional privacy transformation.
As a key member of the Global Data Privacy team, you will be responsible for establishing local and global privacy requirements, providing proactive privacy and data protection support in the region, and collaborating with other team members to manage local privacy initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding and experience in applying data protection privacy legislation to a multi-national business strategy, strong risk management skills, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills at senior management level.
- Support the development of standards, policies, and provide strategic direction and advice on privacy matters across the region.
- Perform statutory Data Protection Officer tasks, either personally or via assistance from other functions.
- Report to stakeholders on data privacy strategy, progress, risks, and issues in local markets within the region.
- Detailed knowledge and experience in applying data protection privacy legislation to a multi-national business' strategy.
- Strong risk management skillset, with the ability to communicate risks and solutions in a succinct manner.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills at senior management level.
