The role of Senior Specialist, Data Privacy Compliance involves assisting the Americas Data Privacy Officer in driving key data protection initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive privacy program in Americas, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and advice to stakeholders on all aspects of privacy, including data protection impact assessments, data protection agreements, and supplier due diligence.
- Mature the regional privacy program by developing, refining, and simplifying policies, processes, and systems to protect patient, healthcare professional, and employee data.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including leadership teams and country managers, to advise on new projects and set clear accountabilities and policies for data protection.
- Prior experience within a compliance, legal, audit, or risk function, with a solid focus on data protection matters.
- Demonstrable experience of leading on a range of privacy projects and issues.
- Strong commercial acumen, able to take a pragmatic approach to legal risk and advise accordingly.
