Regional Data Protection Officer

Job Summary: Maintain trust and confidence of fans, artists, employees and partners by handling personal information in a way that best serves them.

The goal is to deliver global privacy transformation in an evolving and dynamic environment. Proactive support for data protection will be provided in the region. Collaboration with other team members is required to manage local initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Support the development of standards and policies across the region.
  • Perform statutory Data Protection Officer tasks.
  • Report on data privacy strategy, progress, risks and issues in local markets.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, peers and business partners.
  • Initiate and facilitate activities to foster data privacy awareness throughout the business.
Requirements:
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in applying data protection privacy legislation.
  • Strong risk management skillset and ability to communicate risks and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills at senior management level.
  • Project management and administrative skills.
  • Ability to develop sound strategies and improve business processes.
What You Need To Know:
  • Understanding and usage of compliance platforms.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
