
Product Category Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to play a key role in driving vendor performance, negotiating terms, and handling promotions to increase product category sales.
This individual will have excellent communication skills, be able to analyze and communicate complex terms and margin structure, and work well across teams including Finance and Inventory Management.

Responsibilities- Retail Managers focus on customers, vendors, and functional teams: acting as owners of customer and category information, influencing other teams to address specific needs, and maintaining knowledge about customers, trends, and market evolution.
- Vendors—RM own the relationship, focusing on top vendors that drive majority of sales, auditing and escalating performance, improving terms and cost structures through negotiation, and developing long-term partnerships.
- Central and functional teams represent customer and business needs in interactions, drive system evolution, and implement initiatives to improve CX or cost, prioritizing impact and tradeoffs.
- Team management experience
- Account management, project or program management, or buying experience
- Vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion or inventory management experience
- Master's degree
- Microsoft Access or SQL knowledge
- Data-driven decision-making experience
- Experience driving internal collaboration
- Business analysis and P&L management experience
