Job Summary:

The role involves working as an accounting professional to provide bookkeeping and reporting services to clients. This includes managing QuickBooks or other general ledger systems, reviewing and preparing AP invoices for entry into the G/L, and entering payments into various bank or payment systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client financial records in QuickBooks or other G/L systems
  • Review and prepare AP invoices for entry into the G/L
  • Enter customer payments into bank or payment systems
  • Prepare and reconcile various balance sheet accounts
  • Create journal entries as needed
Requirements:
  • 1+ year experience as an accounting clerk or 3 years as a bookkeeper, preferably with a US-based company
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Working knowledge of SAP Business One or other ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Experience working on Pacific Time
  • Hourly timekeeping system experience (e.g. Clockify)
