Financial Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to enhance the quality and accuracy of local accounting books.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Enhance local accounting book accuracy and quality.
  • Assist in executing audits and reporting in Latin America, focusing on Argentina and Colombia.
  • Perform inflationary adjustments in Argentina and Colombia.
  • Assist daily accounting operations.
  • Analyze new accounting information for product launches/accounting changes.
  • Establish strong internal controls over accounting operations, including system configuration.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and inform internal decisions using this information.
  • Partner with global teams to operationalize complex transaction accounting.
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors for timely audit completion, aid in research, and analysis of audit issues.
  • Maintain relevant accounting standards knowledge and assess operational implications for changes.

This role involves close collaboration with all areas of accounting and cross-functional teams such as AR, AP, Tax, Payroll, Marketing, MSO, SMB, and e-Commerce.

Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and Brazil, Argentina, Colombia local regulations.
  • 5+ years experience in financial statements auditing, financial accounting, or similar roles.
  • Local filing expertise.
  • System implementation experience.
  • Analytical skills, including Excel proficiency.
  • In-house TMT industry experience.
  • Experience working with business partners and engineers to effect changes.
  • Process optimization experience resulting from business needs.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English required.
  • CPA & CRC certification necessary.
