About the Role

The Senior Manager of Consumer Communications will lead the integration of the Communications Team and collaborate closely with the leadership team to develop and execute a comprehensive Consumer Communications strategy, focusing on robust expansion and positive impact in the food delivery industry.

This position reports to the Head of Public Relations and requires extensive external communications experience in innovative and fast-paced companies, preferably in the technology segment. Knowledge and experience in the food, beverage, or food delivery segments is beneficial. Experience working with both traditional media and social media influencers is also required.

The Senior Manager of Consumer Communications will be responsible for planning and executing communications strategies and campaigns, interacting directly with media, journalists, and social media influencers, and managing an external PR agency to:

  • Increase brand awareness.
  • Improve brand favorability.
  • Maintain or improve tonality of earned media stories.
  • Maintain integrated brand campaigns (cross-functional work with Marketing, Social Media, Business, Government Affairs, and Internal Comms teams).
  • Mitigate negative PR impact.
Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute consumer communications strategies and campaigns.

- Interact directly with media, journalists, and social media influencers.

- Manage an external PR agency.

- Monitor and respond to crises.

Requirements:

- Extensive external communications experience.

- Knowledge and experience in the food, beverage, or food delivery segments.

- Experience working with both traditional media and social media.

- Fluent English.

- Strong understanding of consumer communications principles.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to think strategically and creatively.
