We are seeking a proactive Retail Vendor Specialist to enhance our Retail operations. This role is pivotal in expanding our product offerings, analyzing market data, and optimizing vendor performance through effective negotiations and promotional strategies.
You will collaborate with both local and international suppliers to enhance terms, conduct in-depth analyses, and engage in direct discussions with key decision-makers in the vendor community.
Moreover, your efforts will focus on boosting sales across product categories by evaluating vendor performance, orchestrating marketing initiatives, negotiating with partners to enrich our selection, and responding to economic trends affecting the industry.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with the ability to interpret and convey complex terms and margin structures. You will work closely with various teams, including Finance and Inventory Management, to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Focus: Understand and address category-specific customer needs, emerging product trends, and market evolution.

- Collaboration with Central Teams: Represent customer and business needs in interactions with central teams, ensuring initiatives align with category objectives.
The Retail Vendor Specialist is responsible for the complete management of the Retail business, overseeing the entire P&L from revenue generation to cash flow management. You will drive selection, secure competitive pricing, and enhance convenience to support Amazon's operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proficient in English and Portuguese, with strong communication skills.
- Experience in strategy, financial analysis, category management, or related fields.
- Ability to manage costs and develop business strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and the capacity to lead teams and manage multiple projects.
- Proven track record of ownership and execution in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Broad skill set from critical thinking to partnership management.
- Experience in account or vendor management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with e-commerce categories.
- Proficient in data analysis and Excel.
