Role Overview
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of procurement success and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Procurement Strategies:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Supplier Management:
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality products, and competitive pricing.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Cost Reduction:
- Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement effective measures to achieve savings.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously monitor and improve procurement processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- MPS Loading and Materials Sizing:
- Participate in decision-making processes through proper materials sizing.
- Materials Requirement Planning (MRP):
- Execute MRP, ensure on-time delivery, and coordinate materials movement from receiving to production.
- Materials Availability and Coordination:
- Ensure materials availability supports production per Master Production Schedule.
- Order Management and Communication:
- Issue Purchase Orders with negotiated prices and terms, and optimize order management process for effective communication with suppliers.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, and at least 3 years of experience in procurement.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
