We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to join our global manufacturing organization with operations in Manaus.

The Role
This purchasing role will be responsible for procurement area routines related to the acquisition of imported and domestic raw materials, consumables, and MRO, ensuring the supply of materials to fulfill production plans and meet sales expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quotations for materials and services that meet the organization's specifications.
- Develop and qualify new suppliers together with other departments involved in the negotiation.
- Register new suppliers and send purchase orders within the organization's specifications.
- Monitor collection, shipment, and transit time with carriers of purchase orders until they arrive at the factory.
- Keep purchase orders updated in the ERP system (quantities, payment terms, and date of arrival at the company).
- Prepare export documents required by competent bodies for customs clearance.
- Monitor collection, shipment, transit time, and endorsement of documents related to export processes with carriers until they arrive at the customer.
- Prepare advance payment requests and forward them to the finance department.
- Support the sales team in acquiring waste and managing export processes.
- Development and evaluation of suppliers, including services and logistics regarding import and export, as well as monitoring customs clearance.
- Support the quality and HSE team in the integrated management system.
- Related activities in the supply chain area (sales forecast, planning, receiving, and shipping).
Requirements:
- Degree in Logistics or related fields.
- Postgraduate degree in Administration or related fields is desirable.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing processes.
- Located in Manaus, an on-site position, 5 days per week.
- Advanced or fluent English proficiency for international communication.
- Experience with ERP systems is required.
- Understanding of customs procedures for importing and exporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with supplier KPIs.
