Key Responsibilities:- Curriculum Implementation: Manage the implementation of curricular guidelines established by the network in the school, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education.
- Student Safety and Well-being: Be co-responsible for the safety and physical integrity of students, creating a secure and supportive learning environment.
- School Calendar Planning: Help plan the school calendar, including meetings, field trips, and other events, in accordance with network guidelines.
- Professional Development: Attend training and supervision with specialists in specific areas, promoting the growth and development of our teaching staff.
- Classroom Monitoring: Daily monitor the school routine, suggesting improvements to ensure the smooth running of activities and correcting any failures.
- Recruitment and Induction: Participate in the process of recruiting head teachers and teaching assistants, ensuring that we hire the best professionals for our school.
- Pedagogical Guidance: Act in the pedagogical environment, presenting the teaching system, school calendar, procedures, and standards of the institution to our teaching staff.
- Student Support: Guide the activities of the pedagogical team on necessary actions with students and family members, ensuring that our students receive the support they need.
- Documentation and Scheduling: Monitor the schedule from ordering to receipt and distribution of course material, ensuring that it is delivered in time for the start of activities.
- Teacher Development: Foster the development of teachers, taking into account their interpersonal relationships with other school actors, students, parents, and the community.
- Pedagogical Training: Promote pedagogical training, ensuring the professional development of our RED HOUSE pedagogical team.
- Student Progress Monitoring: Track and monitor the correct completion of the Student Agenda in the app, ensuring that our students make progress in their studies.
- Parent Support: Provide assistance to parents, through meetings or through the app, whenever required.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Monitor the implementation of assessments provided for in the school calendar, evaluating the performance of students in each subject and in every grade.
- Teacher Supervision: Supervise teachers to ensure that the RED HOUSE program and Pedagogical Guide are being followed.
- Special Needs and Inclusion: Supervise, together with teachers, the planning of activities for students with special needs and cases of inclusion.
- Classroom Observations: Monitor the work of Head Teacher, TAs, and Specialist Teacher, observing classes, monitoring student performance, and identifying the need for development of these professionals.
- Meetings and Feedback: Hold fortnightly meetings with teachers for pedagogical monitoring of each class, keeping an updated record of meetings held with the faculty, as well as feedback and defined development actions.
- Student Supervision: Monitor park times and meal times, observing students' food, and ensuring that they are safe and healthy.
- Report Cards: Review and send Report Cards to families, providing them with accurate and timely information about their child's progress.
- PTMs and Student Issues: Participate in PTMs with teachers, whenever a critical situation is identified, and observe students with any issues, when asked by a teacher.
- Classroom Organization: Monitor the organization of classrooms, boards, and toys, ensuring that they are clean, safe, and conducive to learning.
- Adaptation Plans: Plan and monitor the adaptation plan for new students, ensuring that they settle in quickly and smoothly.
- Facilities and Maintenance: Report the need for repairs and/or improvements to the unit's facilities to the school's management, ensuring that our school remains a safe and healthy environment.
- Student Entry and Exit: Daily monitor the entry and exit of students at the gate, ensuring that this moment is quiet and safe.
- Student Allergies and Diets: Check and control student allergies and special diets, ensuring that all staff are aware of these issues.
- Weekly Meetings: Hold weekly meetings with the Head of School to monitor the school unit and ensure the alignment of practices.
- Nursery Supervision: Guide and supervise the work of nurseries, ensuring that they are aligned with our school's practices.
- Student Documentation: Monitor the organization of all student documentation, supervising the work of the school secretary.
- Scheduling and Planning: Plan, follow, and monitor the schedule of the pedagogical team, including entry and exit times, lunch, bank of hours, and vacations.
- Winter and Summer Camps: Plan, prepare, and monitor Winter and Summer Camps, if they happen at the unit.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other related tasks determined by the immediate superior.
