Administer respiratory care services to patients with deficiencies or abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Key responsibilities include conducting evaluations, managing and providing care for patients, as well as performing mechanical ventilator management, Bi-pap, and respiratory monitoring.
Other duties may include setting up, checking equipment, and administering respiratory medication for aerosol treatment as ordered by physicians or patient-driven protocols. Additionally, you will be responsible for training other staff members on respiratory therapy issues.
Key qualifications for this role include an Associate's Degree from a Respiratory Care program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care. Less than 1 year of experience is preferred, but not required.
