Role Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver quality care to patients with respiratory conditions
- Promote a safe and clean working environment
- Determine and facilitate discharge or discontinuation of services as necessary
- Accurately record patient services provided
- Develop and enhance professional knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training
- Contribute to a collaborative team effort to achieve organizational goals
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
- Operate equipment safely and effectively
- Protect patient information and confidentiality
- Graduate of a respiratory care program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care or passing grade on the National Board for Respiratory Care entry-level credentialing examination
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred
- 1-2 years of experience required
- Clinical experience in all areas of respiratory care is preferred
- Registered or certified Respiratory Therapy license required
- BLS/CPR certification for a healthcare provider, per the American Heart Association
