Job Title: Contract Analysts II

We are seeking an experienced Contract Analysts II to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of contract management principles, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to meet business objectives.

About the Role:
  • Perform medium complexity contract management tasks as assigned.
  • Serve as lead for strategic accounts, providing expert guidance on contract negotiations and administration.
  • Develop and review agreements, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Lead negotiations for all assigned agreements, working closely with stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Develop and apply a working knowledge of the organization's various business units, ensuring proper contract terms for all types of studies.
  • Develop and negotiate change orders for assigned projects, managing budgets and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Generate cash flow analysis and payment schedules for agreements, adhering to Contract Management guidelines.
  • Follow up on outstanding contract issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing business and legal risk.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Contract Analysts, Client Services, Finance, Pricing, and Sales teams to resolve contract issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist management and subject matter experts in maintaining harmonized contract processes and client relationships.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Life Sciences (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry, with at least 2 years of contract management-related experience.
  • Strong budgeting skills and proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and persistence while maintaining tact.
  • Proven ability to work independently and negotiate effectively.
  • Experience and comfort in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
