Product Development Manager

The Product Development Manager serves as the crucial link between business goals and technical execution.

This role is responsible for guiding product development from concept to launch and beyond, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as primary contact for major system issues and product inquiries
  • Gather and document requirements from clients and stakeholders
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog for development readiness
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and team meetings
  • Collaborate closely with developers and QA for product quality and smooth releases
  • Communicate new feature value to internal teams and clients
  • Oversee and mentor the Product Owner team in goal-setting, project assignments, and performance evaluations
  • Maintain internal tools such as developer PTO and assignment trackers
Regulatory Compliance
  • Handle system certification processes
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards
Manual Testing Team Oversight
  • Managed structure and productivity of the manual testing team
  • Aligned testing timelines with product delivery schedules
  • Provided regular performance feedback
Clinical Services (MIPS) Oversight
  • Directed MIPS services in line with financial and strategic objectives
  • Ensured regulatory compliance and managed escalations
  • Coordinated with leadership, delivered financial reporting, and trained staff on MIPS-related tasks
Qualifications
  • Proven experience conducting user research and synthesizing insights through user flows and personas
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities, distinguish roadblocks and distractions, and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Strong data-driven mindset with analytics experience to inform product decisions
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with judgment to seek guidance when necessary
  • Extensive experience gathering, documenting, and communicating detailed requirements, including functional and technical needs
  • Exceptional communication skills with influence and consensus-building across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Deep experience working in Agile environments, breaking down epics into actionable stories, and guiding teams through software development lifecycles
  • Track record of successful technology product design, implementation, and delivery
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and mentoring
  • Proficiency with Jira and cloud-based architectures
