Field Application Engineer

This role is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the field of agriculture.

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in supporting and/or maintaining electro-mechanical systems for agricultural applications is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting complex software, electronics, and mechanical systems, as well as excellent customer-facing skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Frequent travel to the field is necessary to provide hands-on support and conduct testing.
  • The successful candidate will also possess relevant work experience in Agriculture or a related technical area and hold a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Engineering, or Computer Science.

This position offers a unique blend of technical and interpersonal challenges that require strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a passion for learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on setup, maintenance, testing, and customization of equipment in the field.
  • Conduct hardware, software, and machine vision field tests of farm machinery.
  • Provide in-field engineering support, including diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.
  • Document testing execution and results accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in supporting and/or maintaining electro-mechanical systems for agricultural applications.
  • Skills: Troubleshooting complex software, electronics, and mechanical systems; excellent customer-facing skills and team-oriented mindset.
  • Travel: Frequent travel to the field required.
