This position is crucial for driving business growth through effective commodity strategy development and sourcing pipeline management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Formulate and execute a robust commodity strategy grounded in market trends and technical expertise to maximize returns on investments.
  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing pipelines, benchmarking data, and business performance metrics to ensure optimal supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supplier quality, supply chain, and finance, to align strategies and drive results.
  • Develop business plans that meet organizational priorities and objectives.
  • Work closely with global counterparts to refine and harmonize the global strategy for future programs.
  • Achieve compliance with corporate and unit purchasing and accounting standards and procedures.
  • Utilize the Global Purchasing and Supply Chain sourcing process to manage sourcing packages (RFQ, Quote Analysis and Source Selection).
  • Analyze and apply relevant tools, such as benchmarking, global competitive sourcing, value chain analysis, supplier negotiations, engineering change cost containment, technical cost reduction, part/system reuse, etc., to inform strategic decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree completed in a relevant field.
  • Advanced or fluent English language proficiency.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, both internally and externally, and build strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High-level analytical ability to handle complex problems.
  • Strong organizational skills, including prioritization, handling multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience managing commercial issues with suppliers and assessing supplier performance.
  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities.
