Job Overview

As a strategic commodity specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and profitability through effective sourcing and procurement strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing robust commodity plans based on market trends and technical insights;
  • Maintaining a strong sourcing pipeline and benchmarking data to inform strategic decisions;
  • Leading cross-functional teams and building key relationships with suppliers and stakeholders;
  • Collaborating with global counterparts to develop aligned global strategies and drive business outcomes;
  • Ensuring adherence to corporate and unit purchasing practices and procedures;
  • Utilizing the Global Purchasing and Supply Chain sourcing process to run sourcing packages and negotiate contracts;
  • Applying analytical tools and techniques to optimize sourcing decisions and minimize costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree completed;
  • Advanced or fluent English language skills;
  • Availability to work on-site in São Caetano do Sul.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in purchasing or supply chain management;
  • Proven track record of successful commercial issue resolution and supplier performance assessment.
