Job Description

Overview

The Senior Data Manager will be responsible for leading a team of data engineers to build enterprise-scale data solutions. This position requires strong technical expertise in data architecture and excellent leadership skills.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience working in data engineering or a related domain
  • 2+ years of hands-on management experience

Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Experience hiring and growing teams with a proven ability to operate in a fast-moving environment
  • Proficient in programming languages Python/Kotlin and SQL
  • Knowledge of data lake file formats such as Delta Lake and Apache Iceberg
  • Experience with AWS ecosystem and large-scale batch/real-time ETL orchestration using Airflow, Kafka, and Spark Streaming
