Crafting Compelling Stories

Role Summary:

As a senior copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling stories that drive brand engagement and sales across the Caribbean region.

You will work closely with strategists, designers, marketers, and business leaders to develop integrated campaign ideas that are both strategically sharp and emotionally powerful.

Key responsibilities include developing powerful creative concepts, collaborating with art directors and designers, and mentoring junior copywriters.

• Develop customer-centric creative concepts and copy across all channels, including TV, radio, digital, social media, OOH, retail, and internal communications.
• Translate brand strategy and campaign objectives into compelling narratives that connect with Caribbean audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build fully integrated campaign ideas.
• Lead concept development, writing, editing, and proofing from pitch stage through execution.
• Mentor junior copywriters, providing guidance, feedback, and inspiration.
• Present ideas confidently to stakeholders, defending the thinking and craft behind the work.
• Stay up-to-date with cultural, digital, and creative trends to keep our work fresh and relevant.

• 5+ years of experience in copywriting, preferably in a creative agency or in-house brand team, with regional experience a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, storytelling ability, and versatility across mediums.
• Strong understanding of integrated campaigns and the customer journey across digital and traditional platforms.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills with an eye for detail and tone.
• Confident, proactive, and collaborative, able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-market environment.
• Ability to lead by example, mentor others, and elevate the creative standard of the team.
• Deep appreciation for Caribbean culture, language, and identity, and the ability to make them shine in the work.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, or related field.
• Advanced degree or additional certifications in Creative Writing, Digital Marketing, or related field a plus.
