Job Summary:
Myskysys is seeking a highly skilled IT Desktop Support professional to join our team. As an IT Desktop Support specialist, you will be responsible for building and supporting day-to-day operations of all laptops and desktops in our operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware and Software Support: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity incidents through to resolution.
- Asset Management: Manage inventory control and asset management, including creating build records and ensuring GDP standards are met.
- Remote Support: Support users remotely utilizing Teams, Bomgar, or Remote Desktop.
- Documentation and Compliance: Manage and maintain relevant SOPs and documentation following GxP, GmP, and GDP practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze client service calls for desktop devices and incident data to identify user-training requirements and drive continuous service improvements.
- Logistics and Coordination: Track logistics of equipment transfers with attention to detail and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Communication and Collaboration: Provide guidance to clients and support projects in collaboration with other IT organizations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all quality standards are met to comply with FDA, EMA, and CDC standards.
- Technical Skills: Utilize COMAP to ensure only proper patching is sent to devices based on vendor and software needs.
- Documentation and Review: Update, review, and approve SOPs and qualification documents.
- Project Management: Coordinate and manage the deliverables of monthly maintenance events.
- Quality Control: Engage with Quality Control (QC) representatives to ensure solutions meet business goals and end-user needs.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of Windows, iOS, or other computer operating systems, understanding of Office Suite and SharePoint Technologies, experience in ServiceNow ticketing system, hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience, and ability to read and understand technical manuals and procedural documentation.
- Education and Experience: Associate degree in an IT-related field or relevant working experience, at least 2 years of working experience in information technology, excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken), and strong knowledge of laboratory instruments and related software applications.
- Soft Skills: Must have solid soft skills and be a good communicator, ability to lift 50 lbs, and valid license.
