Regional Marketing and Business Development Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our marketing and business development efforts in the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans, managing product portfolios, building channel relationships, and driving commercial growth.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Strategic Planning:
      • Develop and implement annual strategic plans for the region
      • Lead the definition and execution of product and go-to-market strategies
      • Provide comprehensive feedback to translate regional business goals into Annual Plans
      • Create an ongoing process to provide accurate insight into local market dynamics and conditions
      • Prioritize target vertical segments and implement tailored propositions
      • Product Management:
        • Align with Global Product organizations to build product portfolios addressing regional customer segments
        • Identify features and product needs specific to the region
        • Work with global teams to tailor global products to local markets
        • Own launch programs across the region and collaborate with Global Product Management
        • Drive regional portfolio management and ensure phase-in/phase-out plans are coordinated
    • Business Development:
      • Identify potential channel partners and end-users to develop new ways to answer their needs
      • Lead complex negotiations for new business, countries, alliances, or segments
      • Maintain and deploy extensive knowledge of customers, opportunities, markets, and competition

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Educational Background:
      • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or other engineering discipline
    • Professional Experience:
      • 10+ years of Marketing, Strategy, Product Management, Business Development leadership with leading organizations in LATAM
    • Key Competencies:
      • Track record of defining and executing go-to-market plans in complex multinational B2B environments
      • Proven experience operating across diverse international markets and possessing strong cultural awareness
      • Outstanding leadership and communication capacities to work in matrix and multidimensional organizations
      • Outstanding finance and business acumen
      • Core strategic marketing competencies (scoping brand studies, managing research projects, customer segmentation/value analysis, strategic pricing)

      • Fire and life safety segment experience and knowledge
      • Experience managing multiple, complex projects and changing priorities
      • Excellent strategic, operational, and project management capabilities
