About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at Ruby Labs. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily general accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
- Prepare and submit accurate accounting reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure the reconciliation of financial data for tax return processing and ensure compliance.
- Perform monthly close according to the Group's guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounting records and reports according to schedule.
- Collaborate with external parties, including contractors and advisors, to manage payroll calculations, contract administration, invoice processing, and compliance documentation.
- Handle payments, including making crypto transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance or similar.
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excel / Google Sheets knowledge.
- Analytical thinking skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a remote setting.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including unlimited paid time off, paid national holidays, and a company-provided MacBook.
