Senior Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect to join our team. As a key member of our architecture team, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our organization and ensuring that our systems and infrastructure are aligned with business objectives.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, with experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable systems. You will be responsible for collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

You will drive architectural decisions and trade-offs to balance short-term delivery with long-term maintainability and scalability. Additionally, you will review and document software architectural processes and flows as part of the requirements specification process.

Defining architecture principles, standards, and best practices to guide the development team is also a key responsibility. You will evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools to support software development efforts.

As a technical leader, you will provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Conducting code reviews and architectural reviews to maintain high code quality and adherence to architectural standards is also a key responsibility.

Identifying technical risks and proposing mitigation strategies to ensure project success is a critical aspect of this role. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement integration strategies with third-party systems and services is also an important responsibility.

Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluating their potential impact on our architecture and development processes is essential for success in this role.

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in software architecture
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (mainly Azure), PASS and SAAS services and experience with cloud-native architecture patterns
  • Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and related technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to pass on knowledge, train and mentor developers on technical areas
