Technical Architect Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned technical architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting project requirements and providing expert technical solutions to customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to clarify project requirements and address technical inquiries.
  • Translate customer needs into viable solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and tools.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts to assess feasibility, refine scope, and create actionable proposals.
  • Showcase technical expertise in data acquisition projects and provide architectural solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Prepare and present customer proposals, ensuring they accurately capture technical requirements.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of web crawling using Python and knowledge of HTTP and networking protocols.
  • Proven track record of client-facing experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role within a technical environment.
  • Ability to take ownership in critical situations and be the go-to person for complex technical matters.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with comfort in document writing and presentation.
  • Experience articulating technical and business solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to articulate technical solutions effectively and clearly.
  • Natural inclination to understand customer business requirements and ask insightful questions.
  • Confidence in asserting and justifying technical feasibility, making informed decisions, and negotiating scope.
  • Proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and finding creative solutions.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in estimation, planning, and project management.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, and communicative, with essential skills for remote teamwork.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience freelancing or consulting for software projects.
  • Knowledge of web crawling in other tools and platforms.
  • Fluency in one or more major European languages.
  • Proven track record of working with remote teams.
  • Interest in web crawling, data mining, and information retrieval.
