Key Role: Business Intelligence Engineer

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) professional to join our team. As a BI expert, you will work collaboratively in an innovative environment to investigate, create, and implement solutions for complex technical challenges using cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine data models, pipelines, and self-service analytics across the organization
  • Establish a reliable aggregation layer and reporting structure that meets growing business needs
  • Enable teams to access and analyze data independently
  • Contribute as part of a self-organized team of experienced data engineers working on creating the foundation for informed decision-making at a company dealing with vast amounts of data
  • Investigate, create, and implement solutions for existing technical challenges
  • Provide guidance, instruction, direction, leadership to a development team with the purpose of achieving project objectives

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of IT experience
  • University degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years experience working in business intelligence, data analytics, Data engineering or similar role
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling techniques
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or Scala
  • Experience building reporting and dash boarding solutions using data lake/Snowflake or similar ecosystem
  • Expert in Database fundamentals, SQL and performance tuning
  • Experience in maintaining data integrity and reliability by leveraging data quality frameworks and orchestration tools for seamless pipeline execution
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with technical and non-technical teams

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies
  • Experience with modern data warehousing platforms
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their data requirements
