Position Overview

In the capacity of Senior Manager of Intellectual Property for LATAM, your responsibilities will include:

  • Offering legal guidance and support in all aspects of IP, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Leveraging your comprehensive expertise in IP legislation relevant to LATAM to counsel and assist the LATAM division.
  • Leading initiatives and showcasing strong project management capabilities to achieve favorable results.
  • Adopting a proactive and pragmatic approach to address various IP challenges and related issues.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and influencing colleagues within LATAM Affiliates to implement the regional IP strategy.

Required Qualifications

To thrive in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Law is mandatory, with eligibility to practice law.
  • A Master's degree in Intellectual Property or Business Law is preferred.
  • Professional experience as a Legal Advisor, particularly in IP matters.
  • A proactive, practical, and solution-focused approach.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Department Overview

The Senior Manager of Intellectual Property for LATAM will be integrated into our LATAM Regional Office, holding managerial duties for IP and associated matters within the LATAM Legal department. This role provides the opportunity to work collaboratively with various teams and influence peers across LATAM Affiliates. Our department is dedicated to ensuring compliance with legal frameworks, safeguarding the organization's IP assets, and driving successful outcomes.
